Vocalists are unique because their instrument is built-in to them! They don't need to carry anything else around! Singing can be done in many different styles, and like instruments, voices can be categorised into different groups depending on the type of sound they make. Deep male voices are grouped in the bass section, whilst high female voices are in the soprano section. Learning how to sing correctly requires as much study and technique as learning to play any other instrument.
